QUALITY TIME WITH LIL EREEN

Assalamualaikum and good day to all. Alhamdulillah, today is 12th Ramadan, means all Muslims have been fasting for 12 days and we have another 20 days that marks the end of Ramadan and welcoming Syawal.

For the past few days, i had an opportunity to break fasting (iftar) with my beloved friends from CBN, UPM and my officemates. And today, with my close friend, lil Ereen and for the first time ever. At first, I was thinking to break fasting at KLCC as it is so much convenient for both of us, but suddenly, she suggested me to come over to her house and buy foods at Bazaar. "That's a brilliant idea", i've told her. CHEAP, MORE CHOICES OF FOOD and i love it! hehe Besides that, it's been awhile i didn't come over to her house due to my tight schedule. Huhu.

So, we straight away left office at 5.00pm and heading to Bazaar Sri Gombak (very close from her house) while shortlisted our dishes for Iftar. It is not easy to decide on the menu coz i got confused when choosing a wide variety of foods and drinks. Just name it! They have murtabak, nasi tomato, nasi beriyani, all types of kuih-muih and it made me feel like eating them all! Nafsu Nafsu. At last, we bought delicious laksam, hot soya bean, fried kuay tiow and kuih lopis. hihi. Alhamdulillah, we managed to eat them all while enjoying a triangle love story; Dejavu di Kinabalu @ TV3. Rasa nikmat sgt. Thanks to Allah for the all the given prosperity, pleasure and beautiful blessings to our life. Aminn. and thanks my dearie Ereen for sending me home today. You are sweet!

FIRE INCIDENT PREVENTION PROGRAMME '12

Being the only cute lady and holding a position as HSE Engineer at offshore platform is a great experience and it's really made me very enthusiastic.

Note: Safety engineers often have other titles, such as director of safety, safety manager, or safety coordinator (depends on the company)

I'm not just doing a paperwork and some simple analysis, but responsible for keeping People, Environment, Asset and Reputation of the company (we called it as P.E.A.R) SAFE ~ free from danger, risk, or injury in the workplace.

How am i going to ensure the safety of the people, minimize looses due to injuries and Property Damage (PD)? fuhhh.

Erm. One of the things that HSE practitioner need to do is to develop HSE programs. So, we launched the Fire Incident Prevention Programs/ Campaigns for month of June and July '12 and guess what, all the crews got excited and they actually gave full commitment to this program.

We continuous equipped the crews with the basic knowledge about fire hazards in the workplace and what to do in a fire emergency. If they are required to use firefighting equipment, we trained them how to handle it properly.
